A group  of dedicated students and I set out to recreated two of Juan Navarro's designs that were never built. Used to study light filtration and shadow designs, we allowed ourselves to experiment with mixed mediums, materials, densities, translucency and textures. Mistakes along the way became the stepping stone to unraveling knew ways of viewing materials and the way they created interesting patterns on different surfaces.
